Patrick Gallegos, the founder and principal of Gallegos Lighting Design, has been designing environments in light since 1973. Patrick has an educational background in theater arts, literature, philosophy, and theology at the undergraduate level at the University of San Francisco and a Master of Fine Arts in Lighting Design from UCLA. Patrick worked for three years as a senior lighting designer for WED Enterprises (now Walt Disney Imagineering), where he designed and supervised the lighting for major portions of Walt Disney World's EPCOT Center.
Since founding Gallegos Lighting Design in 1983, Patrick has built an extensive portfolio of projects. Patrick continues to maintain design direction in his growing firm while allowing the considerable talents of the designers at GLD to reflect their own artistry.

Aram brings to Gallegos a rich career in the fields of lighting design and project management. Having started with Gallegos in 1995, he has worked on and produced designs for award winning projects such as the Long Beach Aquarium, LEGOLAND California and Toon Lagoon at Universal Florida's Islands of Adventure, Orlando.
Expanding our firm to the Southeastern United States, Aram opened a branch office in Orlando, Florida in 2002. Henceforth, Aram has produced designs for WCI Communities, Pizzazz Scenic Contractors INC., Ripley's Entertainment and ADP Architects, amongst others. Currently he is providing designs for a 32 story mixed use facility in downtown Orlando, a private residence and Ripley Entertainment's new world headquarters.
Educated at the prestigious Claremont Colleges in Los Angeles, California, Aram received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Theatrical Design. He continued his post graduate education in the field of scenography, studying with the masters of English theatre design at the Motley School of Design in London.

Gallegos Lighting Design adds temporary staff as needed to support the permanent staff. Temporary staff are brought in as employees in order to maintain project control and direction. |
